Forms of settlements

Depending on the choice whether it is legal support in a specific case or in the form of permanent legal services, various forms of settlement are available. We offer the following forms of settlement:

- Hourly settlements - this is a form of payment in which the client receives an accurate settlement of working hours devoted to solving a given case once a month.

- Lump sum – a fixed rate paid every month. The advantage of this solution is primarily no limit on entrusted cases and no limit on the working hours of a legal advisor or lawyer. The client has constant contact with a legal advisor or lawyer.

- Mixed settlement – a combination of a lump sum with an hourly settlement. The client agrees with the Law Firm the amount to be paid for a specific number of hours of the lawyer's work. If, after the limit of hours has been exhausted, the Client wishes to use legal services, an hourly rate will be charged.

- Success fee – this is the settlement offered by the Law Firm, among others: in order to reduce the cost of pursuing a claim at the beginning of the case. In this case, the remuneration consists of the amount due for handling the case, which may be even lower than the minimum rate specified in the above-mentioned regulation, and a bonus, which is a predetermined percentage of the value of the case if it is won or a settlement favorable to the client is reached.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that in accordance with the REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE of October 22, 2015 on fees for the activities of legal advisors, they currently amount to (it may change):

The minimum rates are for the value of the subject matter of the case:

1. ) up to PLN 500 - PLN 90;
2. ) over PLN 500 up to PLN 1,500 - PLN 270;
3. ) over PLN 1,500 up to PLN 5,000 - PLN 900;
4. ) above PLN 5,000 up to PLN 10,000 - PLN 1,800;
5. ) over PLN 10,000 up to PLN 50,000 - PLN 3,600;
6. ) above PLN 50,000 up to PLN 200,000 - PLN 5,400;
7. ) above PLN 200,000 up to PLN 2,000,000 - PLN 10,800;
8. ) above PLN 2,000,000 up to PLN 5,000,000 - PLN 15,000;
9. ) above PLN 5,000,000 - PLN 25,000

In cases heard in writ of payment proceedings, electronic writ of writ proceedings, order for payment proceedings and European order for payment proceedings, the minimum rates are based on the value of the subject matter of the case:

1. ) up to PLN 500 - PLN 60;
2. ) over PLN 500 up to PLN 1,500 - PLN 180;
3. ) above PLN 1,500 up to PLN 5,000 - PLN 600;
4. ) above PLN 5,000 up to PLN 10,000 - PLN 1,200;
5. ) over PLN 10,000 up to PLN 50,000 - PLN 2,400;
6. ) above PLN 50,000 up to PLN 200,000 - PLN 3,600;
7. ) above PLN 200,000 - PLN 7,200

In the event of an effective objection or objection, the fee is determined according to general principles.

The above rates are the so-called minimum rates and the Law Firm reserves the right to set higher remuneration, especially if the complexity of the case requires it.
